Our current situation…

The winter must happen and we have to go down this path.

Our current situation…These pics are not so great, I know, but it’s cold out there!  Don’t really know why I love to see ice on the trees, and yet, it’s rather magical, isn’t it?  (Maybe only magical to those of us who grew up in the southern U.S.). As I slipped on my crocs (yes, my crocs from 2002) to go outside and tap a phone pic, a memory popped up for me…

In November of 2020, I had a meditative dream of “us”.  I saw some darkness we would go through in the coming years.  I write ”we”, meaning those of us in America, though now I think it relates to all of humanity.  I write these strange things, all true, as I witnessed it anyway.

I saw us descending down a path in a forest,…a thick, mature forest, as everything grew darker.  I heard, “a dark winter”.  People would face disease, hunger, hate, oppression, and possibly war on a scale not seen by any current living human. Humanity had to go down this path.  Too many were in darkness, a hypnotic state, so to speak.  The awareness level at that time was too low collectively to see the illusions.  WE HAD TO GO DOWN THIS PATH.

This is hard to swallow, especially if you are one of the ones who could see the train wreck about to happen.  It is a test of patience, strength, will…for those who could “see” it.  Some have learned to trust their intuition more and many of us have found comfort and strength, leaning on God.  The Bible is not all fiction as many are discovering…a statement that surely would upset some.

We are here.  But where is here?  Are we still disoriented in our understanding?  We, the collective “we”, are still in the winter.  Spring will come.  The ice will melt and we will have new growth.   Some parts of “us” and “our” experience will die in this winter.  How do we honor ourselves and this collective winter?  How do we hold space for those who seem to hate us, because we haven’t conformed or would not accept the deception?  What do we do for those who will die soon? And for those who still can’t “see”, how do we help them to see?  Give it to God.  It’s the best and only answer I have.  Give it to God.  Pray over it all.  Spring will come.
